I’m most at home in the kitchen.

Hi there, I’m Sarah.

I’ve been designing kitchens for the past seven years, and I continue to fall more head over heals for them. The overlap of detailed calculations and aesthetic creativity that goes into each kitchen is what makes them my favorite space in the home to design.

My signature design style emulates the storied charm of a New England summer cottage. I am drawn towards coastal hues like blues, greens, browns, golds and rusts. Kitchens can tend to feel a bit sterile and boxy if careful thought is not put into ways to soften the profile and add texture, which is why I enjoy incorporating natural finishes like stone, rattan, aged metals, etc. in each of my projects.

If I’m not in a kitchen, you can find me biking along the Boise River with my husband, Matt, hosting houseguests for a sleepover, reading a good mystery novel in the hammock, or sharing in coffee and conversation with a friend.

I believe that kitchens should be gathering places, which is why I strive to design inviting, livable spaces that will make both you and your guests feel right at home. When all is said and done, I want you to love your new kitchen so much, that you can’t wait to have your neighbors over for dinner!
